  • พัฒนาวิธีการตรวจวินิจฉัยเชื้อแบคทีเรียก่อโรคโดยเทคนิคทางอณูชีววิทยา
  • พัฒนาชุดตรวจสำเร็จรูป
  • ศึกษากลไกในการเกิดพยาธิสภาพของโรคในระดับโมเลกุล
  • ศึกษาระบาดวิทยาของเชื้อในระดับยีน
  • ศึกษาฤทธิ์ของสารสกัดสมุนไพรต่อเชื้อในระบบทางเดินอาหารโดยเฉพาะเชื้อ H. pylori สาเหตุที่สำคัญในการก่อให้เกิดกระเพาะอาหารอักเสบ และ มะเร็งกระเพาะอาหาร
